Hello mr Blog.

Like Daisy I also awoke this morning feeling good.

I know that some people reading this will be feeling low, but I just wanted to share how I feel today. This feeling has been alien to me over the past few months. Today is the best I have felt for such a long-time.

Now sitting here I feel on top of the world and in one of those “god it feels great to be alive” moods.

Today I feel great with a capitol G.

So is there something in the air today? I don’t know, but I am going to make the best of it while it lasts.

When I started writing my blog, I found it easier to invent an alter-ego and write as though what was happening to me, was actually happening to someone else. Although I wrote in the first person, it, for me, was less difficult to describe the emotions of “housewife”, rather than the emotions of  Ruby. (Hope that makes sense?) So instead of blogging as Housewife in the future, I intend to blog as me.

I found my blue earrings. It may seem trivial to you, but to me it is very important. These are the earrings that signify the time I broke out; the time I decided I deserve better. The time I woke up to see that I am not what he says I am.

For a long time, while he was having the affair, he made me feel unattractive and unable. He later said it was the guilt talking! And even though he says it's not what he meant, he continually put me down.
