Im in a good place emotionally, feeling very settled and ready for anything.

I realise this may not last, but hope it will. You guys know what im like.

My depression is lifting, (after a very bad 12 months) and i give all my friends at Wiki most of the credit. You make me laugh and put up with me. i will be forever grateful.

Life is good, i got lots of stuff going on, and am looking forward with head up shoulders back and tits out and a big smile on my face.

I have put up with enuf crap from x and his g/f Chucky, including his suicide threats when i refused to take him back, and her death

I have now being going through the divorce process for coming up to 2 years (and its still on-going), and I am now at the point were I feel strong and in-control, so thought it was time to share my story.

I thought the best place to begin was right at the beginning, with an overview of what led me to this place....

• Summer 03 bought my own property with approx £55k deposit
• Summer 04 started living with stbx in my property (18 months)
• Winter 06 married (4 months)
• No children, no contribution from my stbx.

• Spring 07 my property sold and proceeds held by solicitor (Approx

Just thought I would write a quick blog to say that this week has been ok.

It is amazing how a few days without any abuse allows you to re-focus your attentions.

My problems and issues are still here and will not just go away, but they are so much easier to face when I can think straight.

As GeJay tells me to tell myself often "I am that strong, intelligent, beautiful woman and I am in control of my life".

The sun is shining; today is a "normal" day. Normal is good.

Can face today with a smile and a clear head; that has to be good.
