Happy ThingsPosted by absolution in poetry poems, happiness, being single |
First cuppa my baby making her way towards
me bouncy raindrops underfoot rustle of
leaves changing seasons breeze on a red hot
chilli day children's wonder somersaulting
flames of a roaring fire on a bitter winter's
night light after the darkness
Sunday roast cooked to perfection washed
down by glass of fine wine my mother looking
better happier filing her nails at eighty
catching up with people I love making them
laugh tossing words up see them fly
Freedom to express decide choose random
acts of kindness given received making
new friends spotting that great bargain
living breathing moving waking up
