Yesterday I came home from a day out with our son. I took him to a country park for a picnic and she worked on some of her university work all day. We came home, she was sat behind the computer, tearful and extremely depressed. Not something I haven't seen before...I know this state very well. It's how she would often get when she was struggling with some of her work. She could NEVER ask me to help her, she just got more and more frustrated and caught up in feelings of anger, frustration, and helplessness until she emotionally imploded. You know, in some ways, dealing with the marriage stuff while going through my cancer journey was good - I guess. I certainly didn't focus on the cancer or the effects of radiation therapy. I was too distraught about my wife not supporting me at all and the crumbling of my marriage. I have been thinking more about the cancer lately and how I came through that. As far as cancer goes mine was relatively easy (I guess). ok, surgery was hard and radiation really stunk. I mean really, really stunk.
