Hi, This is my first time on Wikivorce and I was so heartened to find so many other people going through the same horrible experience as me and for everyone to be so supportive of each other.

I discovered that my husband of over 30 years, was having an affair just before Christmas, and decided that divorce was the only option. Our divorce is going OK and the Decree Nisi has already been issued. He has refused to move out of our home, and I cant afford to. The atmosphere is pretty terrible, especially as our daughter is living with us and he is really horrible to her, picking fights etc.

Where do i start? I got married almost 18yrs ago at the ripe old age of 23, do the math and you will see i almost qualify as an old fart. I have a beautiful daughter (16) and a tearaway son (14) who both live with me. I was married once - for 24 years. My nasty divorce was finalized in April of 2007, so it's been a little over a year since "officially" divorced. My ex husband still gives me grief as often as he can in regards to the kids, but hey - he's just a lonely "little" man that has to deal with things his way. He is very angry that he's lost his control over me.
