I have only blogged once so far this week, and its Sunday morning, I have had a nice lie in, breakfast, its sunny outside, I have nice day ahead, and this evening I will run around a plastic field kicking a ball with some blokes that I know, just because they have done this every week for the last 3 years or so with me.  I hardly know these guys yet we spend a couple of hours a week with each other, and we get on just fine.  The are all about my age, have kids the same age as mine, and I am sure have many of the problems that I do, yet our relationship is shallow and thats just how I like

This morning I had to phone scumbag (s2bx) to ask him where he had put the adjustable spanner as I have a gas cooker that runs off gas bottles as we dont have mains gas in this area.

I ALWAYS leave this spanner in the back porch so I can lay my hands on it when i need it as the bottle lasts between 4 and 6 months.  He changed it the last time and I cant find it.  He told me on phone, "its in the back porch", i said "its not as cant find it", converstion as usual went on like this.  He then said, "its ok I will come and sort it", I said.......no.....dont wanna put you out as was

Well, today is my Wikiversary.  12 months since I joined this site.  What a 12 months too!

Seeing Scottishlady's blog the other day got me thinking about what has happened in those 12 months.  I have changed a lot as a person.  I wouldn't say that I was especially naive, but I am a hell of a lot more guarded now than I can ever remember.  I am a good deal happier than I was 12 months ago, although I don't feel that my divorce has moved forward too much yet.

That light at the end of the tunnel that everyone keeps banging on about is definitely burning a lot brighter than it was last year.
