Well after being with my husband for 10 years and having the constant feeling of walking on egg shells i finally got some happy closure yesterday.

 Even though my emotions are all over and im finding it hard to cope most days yesterday my friend asked me to come to the pub with her. i wasnt sure as didn't feel up to it but went as she wouldn't give up!

I went with her and when I walked through the door he was their my ex, my heart sank and wanted to run away but my friend said that i would not, so atayed and had a drink and he came over as i knew he would and started. Trying to belittle me in

Well,  STBX has introduced his 'special friend' to the girls, good, about time he moved on with his life.  They are happy with it and so am I - he doesnt seem to be though!

He is seemingly amazed that I have not reacted to this news, other than 'No, I dont have a problem' and 'yes I am getting divorce sorted' (as he 'told' me to last week by text - it has been held up by him controlling when HE wants it done in his words ''I dont care how or when you do it, its only a piece of paper.')

There is hope! This week has been very up and down, saw counsellor on Wednesday and talked through the whole situation, which was very difficult, and upset me no end. Cried a lot afterwards, and drank too much too, which didn't help my state of mind. Felt awful on Thursday, and had upset stomach so phoned in sick, and spent the day lounging aound the house.

I realised that it's just a house, it's bricks and mortar, and now that he's gone, it doesn't mean anything anymore. The children and I could be happy in any other house, and hopefully we will be in the future.
