There have been a few quiet, tense moments but on the whole we have talked and got on pretty well. Considering how cold we had been to each other this has been a major turn up for the books.

Some of the signs are so small that many people would just say 'So what!' but when you have both so carefully avoided even touching then to be asked to help with a fiddly blouse shows that some trust is returning.

Picked up the keys for my new apartment yesterday evening and after the agent had left, I spent some time there wandering around trying to visualise living there. On my own.
