Firstly, I would just like to say thank you to everyone that came to London last weekend for making it the success that it was.

I was quite apprehensive about coming to London, worried about how people would see me and whether they would like the person they saw. Worried that all the organising would go to pieces and the event would not go well. On that point I need not have worried. There were a few glitches but nothing that couldn't be sorted.

Hi, I am new to the site and find that there are lots of folk in the same position, feeling the same range of emotions - anger hurt revenge etc etc but would like to know if anyone can suggest how to handle my ex in so much as he wont let go. He  had the affair & left ( I am not apportioning blame) but he continually 'gets inside my head'  as though he thinks in some way I should still be his wife i.e. still sympathsise with how bad things are for him.  I can cope usually by simply avoiding him but we have to share info about the kids. Is it unreasonable to expect a response from the Ex when I email or text her about our sons? I texted her last night as she had not brought round our sons football kit and he needs it today. She had said she would bring it round, but by 9:20 last night I thought it was worth checking so sent a text asking her to bring it round this morning or let our son know where it is so he could go and collect it (she lives around the corner). My text was pretty much to the point, but certainly not rude. I got no response and was wondering/worrying this morning whether to phone, text or email to make sure
