I have come to learn that one of the most stupid statements my ex comes out with is "is that ok with you"

I have just come back from golf with scotty, great game and good weather, shame he is getting so good!, Upon my return i get a text from the ex

She is on a keep fit weekend at one of these butlins camps, "Hi hope kids are ok(well if you rang them you would find out!) I am going to xxxx,s palce in spain with him for 10 days from the 19th, the stress of selling the house and the divorce is too much for me and i need a break, Is that ok with you?"

Now Is that ok with you?, what is the meaning

Well where do I start?

The children are with their father for one of their few contact sessions; so I have 7 hours all to myself.

What do I want to be doing with this time? I know what I should be doing - housework, without the children demanding my time and distracting me from what needs doing.

I would love to be spending the time with my "partner" (questionable terminology I know but can't let go of that just yet; don't think he wants to either); frolicking on the beach, walking along holding hands; just relishing the time we have together.

So, "me" time. This is such a rare thing I am not sure

I have just been asked how my day has been!!! I said apart from meeting her at mediation it was great. Can't talk to her anymore about this, it makes me too angry. I really don't think she has the first idea of what is happening. Even her mother thinks she is losing it. This is according to my mother who has spoken to hers on the phone - almost the first contact since the children were born.
She needs a shrink not a solicitor or mediator.

But did have a good time playing 'vollyball' with the children this evening. I think the children really enjoy this
