I know I should be pleased, most people would, but I just can't help feeling uneasy about my ex's request to mediate again.

Why now?

I can't go to mediation unless she reinstates the childcare arrangements approved by the Court and which she decided to ignore a couple of weeks ago, refusing to allow my children to stay overnight without giving any reasons whatsoever.

In my opinion, its all about controlling the nights, therefore the maintenance payment. She tried to convince the Judge I was a danger but he saw through that. The Social Services report was in my favour so I suspect she suudenly

Can't believe it! Ex has sent a text requesting a return to mediation. What? At 8pm on a Saturday?

I'm totally caught off guard. Is this good news? Is this bad news? Why now? Is it because recent developments have taken the wind out of her sails?

Of course I'm all in favour of avoiding courts and legal costs but I cannot help but think this is because the momentum is now turning against her.

The long weekend will give me time to think things over. All previous attempts at mediation have failed. Ex just used them as an excuse to bully me on the cheap.

Well, I guess that's really up to me to decide, but it's so hard, especially as I am someone who is pretty indecisive!!!  I haven't logged on here for a long time...sometimes when you're struggling with depression, you can't even face the simple task of looking for help...the problems just overwhelm you.
