Hi everyone, I'm completely new to this and hope someone can help with a query I have.  I'm a single male and recently met (and fell in love with) a woman going through a divorce.  Her marriage ended 9 months ago and I met her 3 months ago.  She has two young children (aged 5 and 18 months). 

She has agreed a financial settlement with her husband and she is awaiting confirmation of the decree nisi, although no date is yet in sight.  She is apprehensive about introducing me to her eldest as her estranged husband does not know about me and she is scared that by doing so she'll 'rock the boat'

So my stbx is seeing a new partner and has been for a few months (maybe more - who knows, more on that later). Anyway I asked if I could meet her new man just to say "good to meet you, I'm sure you'll be really cool interacting with our son and you'll be another positive male role model for him but please try and make sure he isn't confused about who his real Dad is because he's still very little and it could be horrible for him".
