The children and I are getting settled now into the new house, small and cosy and now that we know how the heating works a little warmer.  When it was -10 outside it was not much warmer in here.

So mostly unpacked, now have phone and broadband so feel connected to the world again.  Mobile signal pretty poor here so had to be upstairs to get a signal which wasn't so good.  Children have been brilliant, excited at what is happening, helpful and co-operative and seem happier and better than they have been for quite some time.  They are laughing and playing like children again.

As I was celebrating countdown with friends, I got a flu and I was in bed till 5th.

Then after that, I was again really down but this time, I noticed I was surrounded by so many kind friends.

Now I feel much better and my work is going well.

Last year, I kept going out and made many friends and among them, quite a few became really close and they care about me. I am quite lucky.

Since last week, I started going out again but unlike last year I usually go out because friends ask me to meet up. I am really lucky.

Came out of a meeting yesterday afternoon that stbx has had with mortgage lender that she wanted me to go to with her.. and it appears she is now co-operatign fully.

I thought she wouldn't turn up as stbx kept stalling with FMH sale and others felt she would drag her feet, but stbx says she now needs to start lookign for a house for her and daughter as she now knows how much she can borrow. In the mean time we need to agree how much she needs from sale of FMH but also how much I need. I can't see that being a problem now. I will be offerign her 60% and the 40% I get looks enough for
