Dear Mr Blogman

 This weekend we had so much fun.  Blondie came down to stay with me because she was feeling very depressed and needed desperately to get away.

I met her off the train on sat morning and from then on.....we had such a scream, we cheered each other up.

Started on sex on the beach at about 5pm (cocktails  by the way) before anyone thinks we went down to the local beach and attacked the yocal locals lol.

Ate dinner....pan fried duck breast, flambed in brandy with an orange sauce with creamy mash and julianne carrots with peas and orange butter, washed down with plenty of red

Today was a good day, I had a phone call from the womens refuge asking for help.

A lovely lady and her 4 children had to leave their home as the husband after being in a car accident had mental problems.

While she was out, he had gone through each room in the house and ripped, slashed and damaged every piece of furniture, he also slashed all the childrens and her clothes.

She fled with the children and the clothes they stood up in.

I have had numerous ladies over the years from the refuge and find that helping them gives me great joy and a sense of purpose.

Now that the menu has reappeared (thanks wikiteckie's) I can tell you about the weekend.

 The children are with their maternal grandparents for 2 weeks as we are both working.  As I may not see them until the end of the month I thought it would be good to see them both this weekend. 

So a long trip (200 miles each way) and time with in-laws, 2 sisters in law and their husbands.  Felt like it might be stepping into the lions cage but they were great, no blame on me, encouragement to sort things out as soon as possible and reading between the lines I think a great deal of frustration with
