Well it must be the 8th time this year this has happened, but the first time it has actually caused me to miss a business trip completely.

Normally at least she has the ability to be back in time for me to catch a flight for a business trip.  There was one time where she almost didn't make it and I had to leave the kids alone in the house for the 10 minutes it took her to get home in the traffic whilst I dashed off to not miss the flight.

And that was in the days when we had 2 cars on the road. Since one has been put on SORN, the opportunity for her to abscond has been reduced.  It hasn't

There have been quite a few blogs recently, highlighting this time of year. It is a time which is surely emphasised by the ' picture postcard'  world that Christmas is meant to represent! It is a time when all our loved ones are supposed to be gathered around us at an open fire, sharing happiness, laughter, love, presents and good cheer! For many of us that will not be the case. Day in day out...........

It's been a while since I last blogged and to be honest I have been struggling reading all the newbies stories. Struggling to know that the devestation I am feeling through my own situation, is rippled up and down the country and  in so many households. The breakup of a marriage, and it certainly has been in my case,  is by far the worst road I have ever travelled down.
