It's tough to be a single man having had to fight to be able to get married and then fight to get divorced.

I'm a 20-something Londoner and I got married to a lady from Lahore, Pakistan in 2006 after we'd met in quite random circumstances. Well, I received my Decree Absolute and Section 41 certificate in the post this morning. Both have errors so need to be returned to the court.

 My Absolute refers to me as the Petitioner, which would be good had he not cross petitioned me; the court also made the same mistake when granting my Nisi.

 The Section 41 Certificate has my 5 yo date of birth down as 1992, when in fact it should be 2002. This again is not acceptable as his name on previous court documents has been wrong too, poor boy would get a complex if he knew.

Got the post today, an event which I have now become to dread. The first letter was from the Legal Commission with a new funding certificate which now includes assistance to file for a Non-Molestation Order. On the downside I should not have been rejected for funding the first time and my x2b shouldn't abuse me so that I feel the need to get a Non-Molestation Order but hey, that is life, and something I seem to be getting used to.
