The man that i thought was such a fantastic father is now officially a 'dead beat dad'. after speaking with him last weekend and offering some contact with the kids on  sat at 6pm until sunday at 6pm the only responce i got was 'what about my social life?'  I get it, he wants to play the feild and have no responcibilities. nice.  On monday i got a visit from the police again, i swear i have never been in trouble with the police - ever, no one i know has had any dealings with them.  He wanted me arrested for harrassing him - this bloke is mad.  luckly the policeman that came, jim, i actually

I've been feeling a bit tearful today - probably the result of too much wine last night! But I decided today that I had to try and move things on to some kind of conclusion - for my sake and that of the children. So when hubby turned up at the hospital (where our son is a long-term patient until the care package has been put into place), I told him that I want him to set a date when we can talk. And when we talk, he has to know where he wants to go with all this.

Almost  a year on.

The 31st August will be a year since I discovered my husbands affair.   The end of my wonderful life.  The 5th September will be our 10th Wedding Anniversary!  A week of sad memories.

How life can change in 12 months.  I'm half the person I used to be.  I'm hoping that there is truth in the saying "time heals".   It hasn't yet, but then there have been so many occasions this past year when I have looked back and thought 'this time last year we were doing this together'.  I hope in another 12 months I'll look back with fresh, happier memories.
