Well for those that dont know my situation!..i,ll explain a bit of it..

I,ve been fighting custody and visitation court battles for 3 years..the first year my x and the last 2 years my in laws..The judge said if there was no contact with his side of the family...he was scared for my safety..i said i was not willing to sacrafise my children for it....

So we went thro court battles and the judge keept ordering me to take the kids to see them..but the kids have always said they did,nt want to go...so i did,nt take them and i ended up on a 3 month suspended sentance..whitch we took to the court of

The sticking point I think is that I have told her I will not back down about fair access to the kids and told her we can either come to an adult agreement or it's the courts.

Have spoken to some very useful and helpful people today about my situation and my stbx.

I am now giving serious consideration to seeking residency of the children with me. A lot of people consider her behaviour to be far from normal or healthy for the children and her level of care over the last couple of years has been poor to say the least.

To date I have taken the view that I will try and rock the boat as little as possible but I now realise that this may not be in the childrens best interest. Until it is too late we all have no idea what will happen to children as a result of separation
