It's been an emotional day. I didn't think it was going to hit me the way it did but it has. 2 years ago we were approved to adopt a child a long drawn out process which took us years to complete. When x2b had his affair and then came back he said he still wanted to adopt another child, in fact even more than before. So after discussion with the social worker it was agreed that we would wait 12mnths to sort our relationship and then go ahead.

Feeling really upbeat today...well...so far, at least - the unpredictability of my moods is quite dizzying, but I am learning to fully embrace the uptimes when they are here!

Things are looking good here,I have spent the whole weekend without my son, and my daughter has spent time at home, think she may worry about her ole mum,so that has been nice.

My s2bx has been away with son, and 'her' , funny thing is he has been ringing and texting me.In the 3 days that he has been gone have had 5 phone calls and 3 texts.Weird hey, its like either he is checking up on me  and what I am doing, or can't bare not to tell me what they are doing, or wants to hear my voice.Its all a bit strange if you ask me.I would think if he was having such a wonderful time with his 'woman'
