I am new here and looking for a little support and or guidance!

Basically my wife had an affair about 15 months ago and I am finding it very hard to cope. Once I found out about it I confronted her and she swore it was all over and wouldn't happen again. However within five months I was found out she was still in e-mail and telephone contact - somehow this second 'incident' was worse and i now find it really hard to trust her.

She has noticed my distance and it is upsetting her but I can't find it in myself to change.

Has anyone had a similar experince - does it get better over time,

Having confessed her infidelity I was knocked back to find that she wasn't sorry, she didn't want to stop. The wife, lets call her Sharon, couldn't see a future without me in it but didn't want to give up her lover. This stunned me. How could she not be sorry? How could she declare her intention to carry on?

The thoughts raced through my mind, throw her out, demand she stop, become aggressive towards her. None fitted the bill, just not me. I told her she couldn't carry on she needed to make a choice our marriage or her lover. Sharon wanted time to make the choice; I felt my stomach churn

I have been having real issues with my daughter (17) & today she told me tht she has been keeping to herself who her father is with. God knows how she has managed to do this without it ripping her apart inside :( She then proceeded to tell me tht, She has bought him a lap top & tht he is driving her 4 x 4 & she is considering buying him a new car ( How frigging nice is tht ) My daughter was really upset as she called her dad & asked when he'd be down to which he replied " i'm busy & I don't have the time & i'm not sure when i'll be down next"

My daughter then told me tht his new woman has 2
