I'm a newbie to this - site, divorce etc.

Been married for 28 years been with my soon 2bx for 31 years, have 2 fantastic kids. Just before Christmas 2007 discovered my soon 2bx was having an affair. Tried to reconcile but she not interested so threw her out.

Am in process of divorcing my soon 2bx, decree absolute in about 2 weeks. Have done it all myself so saved £'000s, if anyone wants help with DIY divorce I'll try to help if I can.

Well one Son has comleted exams so one to go then we can tell them both , stbx will leave and then onto next stage....or so I thought! After me letting "him" stay here for 5 months whilst our Sons revised (youngests first yr in sixth form and the eldest first year at Uni) he now announces he's going no where to we sell the house? Please can anyone tell me when I missed the news flash that God had died and stbx got the job!!!! I am at my wits end with him, has he not heard the news that houses are just not selling at the moment .Do I deserve this after all I've done for him letting him stay

The story so far;

I have always worked shifts, and my stbx has allways known that, and has gotten use to it. over the past 5 years i have been working away, first with the navy then with the railways, it was allways sadness when i'm gone and happyness upon returning. all that changed a few months ago, i was only getting calls on the phone if she wanted anything, or to complain that i was allways away, or that she needed more space??
