evening Mr Blogman and wiki peeps...

well what a crap rubbish week ive had !!!

had mum and hubby round for dinner tuesday night all went well until i told mum i was spending xmas on my own here at home...

i want it more than anything, want them to come to me for breakfast then for them to leave and me to have my own special xmas day...doing what i want to do, watching rubbish tv, drinking bubbly - all day - and eating yummy food..with my cats........

god aged 41 and have never spent xmas day alone....it might be the only xmas i get to do it, plus the fact that i simply cannot do the family thing

Firstly, the breakdown of our marriage of 11 years was entirely my fault.  I did not have an affair but did do some really selfish, unthinking and very stupid stuff.  Thankfully we had no kids so it was only my ex and myself who had to go through it.  I have huge respect for all you who can handle this and carry on bringing up a family.

We divorced with the cause being my "unreasonable" behaviour which I did not contest but did tell my wife throughout that I loved her and wanted to try and stay together.  We split the house equity 50/50 and I moved back home to Scotland.  I

Life has been great since my last blog.  I had a long hard look at myself and realised I was at rock bottom, the only way was up.  I am a strong person and don't deserve what has happened to me.  I decided to pick myself up and carry on.  Lots has happened.  I threw myself into caring for my girls, and forming a good single social life.  The ex is a lying cheating good for nothing, and I am better off without him.  Turning up drunk to take them to school was the last straw.  I have taken control, they are much happier.  They have one home for now until he sorts himself out.
