Bad day todayPosted by JAYNEY in moving on, bad day, affairs and cheating, accepting its over |
received a romantic text from 'soon to be ex' today. confirming booking at hotel etc sounded sooooo nice, except he sent it to me by mistake! cant believe it. I really fell for the 'theres no one else' line. I feel shattered. havent confronted him. just cant. Only moved out this month and have been replced instantly! Of course he has no money, cant do anything but can manage this. All while I manage our business. Guess I have to use it to my advantage to move on and accept we are through And at least I now have strenght I didnt have before to make sure I have what I am entitled to... half. Sounds like he is going to be happy to share it with someone else. How do you stop yourself feeling bitter, unwanted and pathetic? I am never like this. Get a grip I think is the expression

Jayney, Makes your blood boil doesn't it? My STBX flounced off to a rental house, leaving me in our hotel business premises. Its OK for me to pay her rent. Its OK for me to drive 4 hrs each day to a day job to subsidize our business and her lifestyle choices. Its OK for me to be tied to the place 7 days a week, including overnight every night. Ask her to get off her backside and do something and the teddies go everywhere. Bitter? Hell no - where's my angustura gargle gone.... The answer Jayney is that future without them. The one where you are happy and fulfilled. The one where things are on your terms. Right now it is a transitionary stepping stone. A means to an end. Keep your chin up Jayney and come out fighting! You'll get there as I will. Just a little bit further to go. Take care, Mike |

Ouch, Janey, that must have been awful to find the text. Don't be too hard on yourself - I bet you're far from "pathetic". as to how you stop feeling bitter, I think it's just a matter of getting on with life until the bitterness just fades of its own accord. Well, that's the theory I'm trying to work with anyway as Mike says, chin up! Pundit |
