Was at the job center last week to sign on, never thought I'd be doing that but the one here is really nice and the staff are great. Had my interview with a really nice woman and we had a good laugh (sadly she's married), I gave her the full story and managed to keep it together while telling her (just) which is a huge step forward for me.
Couple of good jobs that would suit me down to the ground, so CV has been updated and sent off. All of them are full time which might cause a few problems as I currently look after the kids while my stbx is at work (shifts) but once the house is sold I wouldn't be able to do that anyway so she might as well get used to it.
I just want to get things moving so I can start living my life again and I don't think that will start happening until I don't have to look at her everyday.

Good luck with the job hunting. I was out of work for 3 months last year whilst my divorce was going through and I can say it really helps to move forward once you find a job. All the best IGB |

I managed to get a new job a few months after stbx left, more hours, more money and a permanent contract an felt 10 feet tall. But the most wonderful feeling was when I phoned my daughter and she screamed with delight! After all our tears and sleeples nights, that moment of joy - I did that! Good luck! |
