STBX finally got his petition last thursday, and text me "so the gloves are off". I've found out from mutual friends he's going to contest as it seems Ive hurt his feelings by saying the truth, that he's lived off me for the last 18 years while he stashed his tax free earnings, and started an affair and is living with her!
His head is truly in the sand, he doesn't know why I cant just hang around for the next 5/6 years while he thinks about what he wants to do about finishing this house he's half built and which is draining me of any money i might earn.He's in for a big suprise when he gets the E1 form.
Can't wait.

Let him contest the divorce - anyone who knows anything about the process will tell you it's a stupid move. He'll have to dip into his tax free earnings to pay the legal costs!! | |
