I don't know quiet why I'm writing this, but a book that many on this site might find useful is "Angry Men and the Women Who Love Them," by Paul Hegstrom.  It's written by a man who was once an angry one, but who faced his own demons and eventually remarried the woman he had abused.  It took a great deal of trust on her part to even want to try again, but she saw that he had changed.

I have just heard from the jobcentre people.  I don't know why they didn't just tell me this in the first place and not waste my time.  Apparently I don't qualify for incapacity benefit, not because I am not unwell (I am) but because I haven't paid enough NI contributions in any one of the three tax years that count - 6 April 2004 to 5 April 2007.   Since I told them I had come back to the UK on 4th December last year and had worked from the beginning of January for six months before I gave up, you would have thought they could have checked that first.

 Tonight’s entry, when I can figure out how to post my blog again, is partly taken from a response to cerealkilla999, who mentioned  Twix consumption (0).  Blogs have a way of doing that, one thing leads to another.

My tally for today is three chocolate biscuits, I’m rather pleased with that.  The fact that I only bought the packet on Tuesday is neither here not there.   I also had a piece of bread pudding from the local bakery, for the bus, on the way to the AA open meeting
