still waiting...Posted by Gilly in feeling down |
Well sad to say not much has really changed. Decree Nisi was hand delivered by the kids on Christmas Day - nice touch that! No further mediation has taken place as STBX has been to her solicitors who have asked yet again for a CETV - despite me showing the reply from the Armed Forces Pension agency it doesn't have one as it is already being paid. So I write off to them again - at a cost of £175 and await their reply. Week later STBX says dont worry - if you'll take 30% of equity I'll leave your pension!!! By which time cheque has been cashed.... This is contrary to advice from her solicitor but hey - she pays for the advice - doesn't mean she has to take it!
There is now a significant other on the scene - not met him but kids have and not too impressed. Her family also appear to be not too happy with this "whirlwind" romance either. Seems to me she is now in an unseemly rush to do everything. Got rid of one of the dogs last week as "she was too busy.." - yet she always saidshe loved having them and taking them out. Kids will probably be next for the old heave ho at this rate. Eldest who is 20 has said he'll move in with his Nan if things get any worse...litle 'un - who's 11 say's he'll go with his brother!
So - were awaiting an up to date valuation and will take it from there - were talking but it's still awkward - and as the song says - "It's a thin line between love and hate..."

Gilly, Must be torture at the moment. Limbo land. Can really empathize. Sorry to hear that kids and even the dogs are being drawn into the tangled mess of it all. Strange how they seem to want to do everything 'right now'. Like walking on eggshells, we now seem to talk on eggshells. But every day is a day closer to the end of it all. Roll on that day. Hope it picks up for you all soon, best of luck Mike |

Keep strong mate, and I know what you mean about 'love and hate' - scary how quickly things can turn!
