Annual leave cut shortPosted by Sals45 in positive thinking, moving on, accepting its over |

Work rang beginning of the week desperate for me to come into work..I said no cos I had the girls at home..rang again yesterday manager near to tears with desperation promising the world..double pay..triple pay..I asked for a weeks annual leave in return for losing one day...she agreed???
Phoned X2B to see if he could help with childcare..he jumped at the chance and has taken them away until sunday wow???.
I finished work a 14.00hrs ??? got a weeks annual leave?? and have a weekend all to myself??? what is going on??? At last someone up there is looking after me...I have a few career inhancement suggestions to make might try that next week and see if I am on a roll...
On the way home I treated my self to the Bourne Ultimatum DVD, am cooking a curry..and sitting here? with a glass of Amaretto and am soooooo happy...(I feel selfish though).
But I deserve it..don't I?
Almost seven months on since the split, I have hope for a good future, I will remain realistic though..Live each day as it comes!!!

Nice one Sals! Just shows that it is going to get better and better. You wouldn't like to come and do a week's work for a day's pay at the hotel would you? Just to make you feel less guilty?  Thought not! Mike |

2008 is going to be a positive year; we have to believe that! And so far it appears to be a good start for more than a few of us! Make the most of it Sals, you never know what is round the corner.
