She gets her own wayPosted by AJB0492 in breaking up, accepting its over |
Well after a quiet uneventful Christmas Day she informs me that she has right of occupation to the council house even though her name was never on the agreement. well i did ecpect something like this to happen so she has moved back into the house at least I get to see my son. Seems she has no where to live and the council wont help her. So looks like its me that has to go. At least she has given me the decency to wait until the 31st before I have to go so at least I have my wages. On the whole I thinks its for the best at least I know that my son is okay. So we now have a couple of weeks of the silent treatment followed by her grinning as i leave. But hey he who laughs last laughs longest and revenge is a dish best served cold so they say. The last thing I wanted was for things to get spiteful but hey ho. She thinks i was unprepaired for this well she can think again. Solicitors here I come.

The Council will not help her because she made herself intentionally homeless. I think that this sort of thing is really unfair to you, but it is admirable that you let her return. Of course she has home rights so she has every right to remain in the house, however please get some free advice about this as you do not want to end up paying the rent on the maritial home as well as renting privately. Shelter have a really good web site that explains it all..it costs nothing to do your own ground work and one phone call could help you out of an unexpected costly mess.. Never trust the X2Bs word for anything..suss out the facts for yourself. But I could be telling you how to suck eggs. Good luck. |
