Happy ChristmasPosted by swordsman again in positive thinking, moving on, accepting its over |
Well it is now 2 months since my wife decided that she would rather be on her own and walked out the door.
Thanks to my work colleagues, friends, friendly women :) and people on this website, I have managed to get over the original feelings of shock and desperation, and now have quite a positive outlook on life moving forward. I can now safely say that I believe that she was perhaps the stronger person to say enough was enough.
I am pleased to say we seem to have come to an amicable arrangement around our son, and his maintenance. I suppose the arguments may start when the actual divorce begins and money comes into the picture. In which case I'll be pouring my heart out in the chatrooms again.
They say every cloud has a silver lining, and there is someone now in my life who makes me extremely happy.
Anyway if you can have a good christmas, if you cannot - hey it's just a day in the calender.

| I am glad you have moved on from the person you were when you first said "hello". If you had asked me then, whether you would be where you are now, I would probably have said "no". How you got here is no matter, I am just very happy that you have. I am not saying there aren't going to be hard times ahead but you have built up a network of support now, so the times ahead should be a bit easier. Hope you can get through Christmas Day with your x2b and just enjoy spending time with your son; after all Christmas is for the children. I have to keep telling myself that or I would not have bothered at all this year. I know once the children are tucked up soundly in bed tomorrow night things will not look so good but at least I will have ensured the children's day couldn't have been any better than it was. Take Care, Sarah xx | ||
