Work rang beginning of the week desperate for me to come into work..I said no cos I had the girls at home..rang again yesterday manager near to tears with desperation promising the world..double pay..triple pay..I asked for a weeks annual leave in return for losing one day...she agreed???

Phoned X2B to see if he could help with childcare..he jumped at the chance and has taken them away until sunday wow???.

I finished work a 14.00hrs ??? got a weeks annual leave?? and have a weekend all to myself??? what is going on??? At last someone up there is looking after me...I have a few career

So in the last six months I have managed to survive.

I got through Fathers Day, the childrens birthdays, Christmas and New Year so having faced the firsts of these occasions as a single parent I know anything is possible to achieve.

2008 holds many surprises I am sure..but when they come along I'll just have to tackle them. I hope my girls will look back with the knowledge that life did still go on and will continue to go on.
