Given that my divorce was straight forward and simple - we both accepted it wasn't working, it was over and time to move on I wasn't ready for what I was about to be hit with with my partner's (off-again-on-again) divorce .... or the impact it would have on every aspect of my life.

Pickle - at the outset my own divorce was amicable, agreed, consensual. However, as time passes the STBX is getting more and more difficult and odd. Strange, as she decided to separate from me......I can certainly relate to the 'every aspect of my life'. Mine has recently gone spectacularly pear-shaped, and like you allude to - it is every damn thing. It just has to get better eventually. Good luck! Mike | |

Thanks Mike62 :-) I will admit we are looking forward to getting away on a weekend break this weekend and spending Christmas with NP's parents. |
