A civil week comes to an end

There have been a few quiet, tense moments but on the whole we have talked and got on pretty well. Considering how cold we had been to each other this has been a major turn up for the books.

Some of the signs are so small that many people would just say 'So what!' but when you have both so carefully avoided even touching then to be asked to help with a fiddly blouse shows that some trust is returning.

I know you cynics will just say that she was desparate to get to work, had no other blouse and was late for a meeting. But to me it shows a relaxation of tension between us.

Away for a few days with children and to give my wife some time just for her.
