Hi there all,
To cut a long story short, got divorced after 19 years, all amicable, lived in house together until i found somewhere to live (another story) six children together 4 under age of 16 when divorced. when ex found out how much benefit money he would lose told the courts and cafcass i was unfit mother and they believed him. have got staying contact for one night each week and every second weekend mon to fri, also holiday contact.
Question is when we sorted out the contact through the courts solicitor told us both that fmh couldn`t be sold until youngest child 17 (now 13). As he has since remarried and his wifw works am i entitled to claim my part of the house which is still in joint names, and what percentage would i get. Am living in partners house but we would like to own one together.
If anyone could offer any advice i would be very grateful also can i claim any money from the tax credit people as i have two boys staying over 12 nights and days every month and extra holidays.
surely it cannot be right that he can claim for them when they`re not there.

, moved her in house (as i wouldnt move out). eventually moved out but ex blackmailed 6 children to live with him through cafcass, so couldnt claim half of house. did a diy divorce so no ancillary relief either as didnt know what i was signing. now am struggling finances as not allowed to claim tax credit for children for time that they stay with me each week and have been told by solicitor that can claim for house now as ex got married but cannot now afford sol fees of £500 down and £100 per
