Here Comes the Sum

 Well, the sun's come out at last and things always look better when reflecting ultraviolet. I can begin to see a way through. Also, I don't know if this is coincidence, but my x2b has got off her ar*e and says the petition is done; i'll believe it when I see it of course, but she says she is accepting £10K and, oh, the solicitor has added that the court should award Spousal Maintenance "until the £10K is paid as I'm skint."

 She reckons she has applied for income support in addition to all her other benefits, but I still couldn't get from her how she has built up a debt seeing as how she barely has a single expense now. I'm guessing she's given her money away until the court scrutiny of finances, then it will magically reappear again.

She tried to walk in on me again today and was chatting away as if we were talking about what sandwiches to have. Roll on the end of her tenancy. Someone told me that I can't change the locks, but I could add one for extra security. I think that would still have to wait until the notice period is up.

 Trying desperately to keep things to an amicable veneer until the DA or at least the notice period, but it was difficult when she told me that she had been in yesterday when I was out. I was going to bring up paranoia in couselling, but now I know why I've had feelings that things have been moved, inspected, etc. Oh well, at least I'm not going mad.

 A mutual friend invited me over to visit her family which was a nice offer, most people find it difficult to avoid taking sides.

 At least the divorce bandwagon is rolling now and I should soon have something to show my solicitor. Interestingly, her solicitor apparently looked at my offer letter and said "well, the court don't need to see that"; something to do with my reasons for the offer. I didn't mention adultery, but did ask her not to pay any of the money to a named person.
