Here goes............
Tomorrow is the day of days, court.
I'm taking her to court just to try and settle this.
This in itself is funny, because I'm the one with the only asset and she won't take her solictors advice and settle on the offer that was given.
Now it may just be me, but in my world if you had paid into your pension long before you got married, why should anyone be entitled to that that piece of you're pension as well.
We where married for 14 years and I have no problem giving away half of that pension share, as well as paying off all the debts and giving up all the furniture (we didn't own a house or she could have had that as well).
After all she has the children, so to me its only fair.
But to insist on half of a 22 year pension as well as everything else, while stalling the proceedings to watch the pension increase........doesn't seem fair to me.
Guys and girls......watch out for that one.
So here I am and here I'll stay until its over.
Over the course of this rather late blog I'll spell out the whole sorry mess blow by blow. And if I can persuade some of you at least to see sense and learn from my experiences, then I will have got something out of this
Until later, may all your dreams come true...
