Ive had the house to myself since Friday morning - the first time since March. This girls are away all weekend, as thier father was getting married yesterday. I've no feelings either way about his marriage - we ended our 9 year relationship some 7 years ago, so any feelings I had for him have been long gone.
Ive been a bit of a sadsack these past couple of days, mooching about the house, with little idea of how to occupy myself - I start a task, get bored, and move on to something else, only to be bored with that a few minutes later!
My time has been spent thinking (always a dangerous pastime for me!) - mulling over the past year, where I was, where I am now, and what the future may bring. For me, sometimes, its a case of 2 steps forward, 3 steps back. Im scared about the future to some extent, its unknown, unwritten, and while its exciting to know that I can now shape my own future, I am aware that the past will also have a hand in shaping it.How can I ensure that history will not repeat itself? How can I ensure that all my dreams and plans will come to fruition? How can I ensure that my heart wont be broken again? I know life holds no gaurantees, no promises written in stone, just the hope that the future will be so much better than the past.

Hi Ruby Im sure your future is a bright one  such a lovely lady as you deserves to be happy and im sure one day you will find what you?re looking for. I hope we all will. You are right we can shape our own future and although it is very scary we have a future life ahead of us. Life is what you make it. Keep your heart safe but dont lock it away forever. Ivory X |
