well this month would have been my 4 year wedding anniversary and to be honest its hard, after being with someone for 10 years and married for 4 takes some getting used to.
i dont miss him, he wanted rid of me, so its his loss
i just feel sad that i may never marry again.

Hi Sarah It's not about whether you'll be married again, but whether you'll be happy. You are about to enter a diferent chapter in your life and you can shape it how you want. I think it's important to concentrate on making yourself happy and learning to like yourself after the battering your self-worth must have taken recently. Anniversaries can be very difficult and can stir up a lot of emotions and upset - my snniversary really put me back a few steps, spending it on my own after finding out that my wife was still seeing the person she had an affair with. Allow yourself to feel down, allow yourself to miss him and the life that you had, but keep looking forward. there is a whole new future out there for you Sarah, and it could well be the best time of your life Sun x |

Hi Sarah Dont worry about whether your marry again, if you dont what does it matter, concentrate on being happy, rebuilding your life for you nobody else just you, put yourself first for a change. Who knows what is round the corner for you, your knight in shining armour maybe!!!! lol I think the first thing to do is to make yourself happy first. Take Care JJ x |

Hi Sarah, I have just had to spend my 2nd year anniversary (1st sept) on my own whilst my cheating husband has been cuddled up with his new live in woman! I also had to go through my birthday which was very tough as well as it was all very raw back in July. The only thing that has been keeping me going are my amazing friends. Don't get hung about about marrying again - i am sure you will. If not you may be with someone in long term relationship without having to marry. That works for people too. But think of yourself now - and you only have 1 life so don't let the situation and his BIG mistake get to you. You are worth more than that! |
