Are there any happy stories on Wiki. Is there anyone here that has gone back to their ex's and lived happily ever after. Is it possible.
I am scared to try. Do I go to relate and work at fixing my marraige, Will it all go pair shaped, then the hurt and distress starts all over again. Is it worth taking the risk.
It affects so many people.
I am so confused, need some words of wisdom.

Hi Pep I went back and tried for six months, and although it didn't work for me I am glad that at least I tried and was not wonering what if? - also the pain and distress I found was not as acute - not as much as a shock for me, a different kind of sadness. For others it has worked - but its a very personal thing and all about two people really wanting the same thing and recognising that it will take time and 100% effort from both. Depending on what you have been through, time can be a healer and learning from what went wrong. Maybe with help from relate or another kind of counsellor to help you start off? I know that you could go on your own to help YOU make up your mind in the first place. Don't set yourself huge targets, why not see how you can go with starting with small steps x I feel for you as its a difficult and emotional decision to have to make x |

I can't give you a happy story about humans but my daughter has a puppy, 6 weeks old, who is sooo cute! And naughty. Too little and weak to bark or even climb the stairs......or so they thought...... He was left alone for an hour and somehow managed to climb a flight of stairs, catapult himself onto the sofa and left them ' little present' Anyway back to the subject in hand... I have never gone back to an ex but do have a sibling like relationship with a couple of them. x |
