Court prep pt2Posted by bertie670 in worry and anxiety, dealing with solicitors |
Just a quick update having seen solicitor. We will be seeking a welfare report and also a hair test(!). I had not heard of this before but apparently you can test for drugs from a sample of hair and this now extends to alcohol as well as stronger drugs. This is often used in childcare cases.
Her solicitor has written asking that I move out of the MH but have been advised to sit tight for now. The argument being that as I am concerned for the children and so I should remain there for them. Moving out may signal that I am not so concerned for their welfare so just have to try and bear it a bit longer.
Not sure if I am looking forward to this but at least something is happening. Sadly it takes upto 3 months to get these reports undertaken so there is no way this will be complete by christmas. Unless she decides to to be more helpful and start talking about things. Pretty unlikely I suspect.

Bertie, It shines through what a good dad you are and that all you want is what is best for them. Staying put does sound the best for the children right now. We will be here for you when you need to rant and rave about how living with her is getting you down. (((((hugs))))) and (((((cuddles))))) oh and have one of Sarah's special (((((snuggles))))) as well because you deserve them all and more. Take care Bertie, here if you need me. xx Sarah xx |
