Email from solicitor today was not what i wanted to hear. Cafcass report doesn't help my case, although I haven't seen it yet, and solicitor doesn't seem very encouraging.
Cafcass officer doesn't seem to have taken on board anything from the 2 meetings. Now I have to hope that I/we can get some of it out in court.
Life at home is becoming pretty grim, living with an alcoholic depressive who won't accept any responsibilty for her future or the childrens. Now she is spending money in a completely irresponsible fashion I assume either on credit cards or further debt.
Roll on next week and the first court hearing. Just hope some common sense will prevail - not holding my breath though.

Also could you contact the credit ref agency and put a disassociation notice with comment that you are divorcing and not sharing finance bar mort? It will protect you and may top her getting credit if you using your income to apply for it? Come into chat or email if you ned to. we here for you xxx | ||

Gosh Bertie - really feel for you. Strange that your solicitor gets to see the CAFCASS report before you do? You need to scrutinise it. It sounds like they are as fallible as the rest of the system, although I've been more encouraged by what I've heard recently. It seems like you are the one who is trying to look out for everyone and keep it together. Maybe they should just give you a sole residence order (although I really don't believe in sole residence personally except in extreme circs)? Good luck with the court stuff. Let me know if you need to chat. tmb |
