hi wikis not sory im here !!!
peaks and troughs oh let me tell you i am cross !!!
wiki is meant in my view to help people in their darkest hour and has helped me over the last few months ................thankyou wiki i mean that !!
i am utterly gobsmacked about the fact that there is two chatrooms ............not surprised but the lack of my pc knowledge flicking from room to room really pisses me off ok most on here know pc's wiki was the the first time i used the internet and i've lost my safe place ,where i knew i could get too and talk im stupid as far as pc's but it's getting too techy i feel sorry for the newbies all though thier prob not as stupid as me endlesss relentless grinding dissapointments over again oh well back to reality bye luvlys xxxxx

But Fish does your local have a bar and a lounge? Do you hop between the two or stay in one, chat to your mates and later check out the other room to talk to other mates? We won't talk about you whilst in other room Take care and don't let the change get in the way of you talking to us. Julian |

Fish If you have any questions just ask those with good PC knowledge will help. Try one chat room at a time, no need to be in 2 at once. The reason that using different chatrooms is that iif you get too many peope in one, it can get too busy for a meaningful chat. Wiki peeps do not mind if you say you are popping next door for a mo. could always try pm people you get on well with for a noe to one chat. If you are not sure how to do this ask in chat and peeps will help you. Keeping chatting Fish be a shame to loose you. Shelia X |

Hi Fish Be a shame for you to go just that wiki is getting very big and busy now that there is over 20,000 memebers , new comers are coming in every night and whilst new chat has been down there have been over 41 people in the old chat room that newbies are getting lost they just sit there not daring to type , and all of us here have to give each other support.Thats why we used the 2 rooms in old chat for those that want friendly banter use the lounge new comers who want advice go into the lobby as most will not know how to get into the other rooms just yet. |

Fish dont let it put you off hun it really is not that bad The other night there was 40 of us in one room so if your a newbie it must be a bit daunting to walk into that lot. When i first joined i found it difficult to get involved in chat when there was on 10 or 15 in Stick with it, you will get used to it eventually it really is quite simple really and you can still stay in the lobby i have been there tonight the whole time. please dont go we would miss u JJ |

hi kevin... sorry your angry about wiki chat, ive read everyones responses and there are some real reasons why ther are 2 rooms... i know you;ve done loads of pc stuff lately and you've done brilliantly !! more than i could have done.... its not a bad thing to ask for help, look at me ! ive had to ask fo3 for help and tets for putting pics on.... it gets frustrating i know but everyone here is good at something, whether it be doing what you do for a living or doing tekky stuff or teaching.....no one can be good at all things, life just doesnt work like that.... people love you in chat so dont leave, we would all miss you hun.... take care daisy xxx |

Fish, When I joined, there were never more than 3 or 4 people in chat, sometimes we just sat and waited for someone to join us, ask Louise11 or Marshmellow. I had never been in a chatroom before joining wiki and haven't ventured into another one since. Trust me, I am a self taught technonovice. If I ever get stuck with techno stuff I just shout for help from the likes of Tetleys or Julian or Mr Wiki. If it helps get yourself a blonde wig (sorry all the blondes out there - just joking) and use that as your excuse, lol. Seriously, we are all on wiki for support but also to learn and acquire new things. Learn things about ourselves and why not learn new skills. For me, I have seen the new chatrooom as a challenge, something to get my teeth into. It is not for everyone though and many have chosen to stay in the old chatroom. Originally the idea was to all move to the new chatroom once up and running because it doesn't have as much lag, but some people commented that it was too in your face for them, so the old room has stayed. Stay were you feel comfortable or embrace the challenge Fish, either way don't go as you will be missed greatly. Take care xx Sarah xx |
