Well one piece of the jigsaw seems sorted....financial agreement signed yesterday so within 8 weeks I'll have settlement and absolute.
Apart from small disagreement about some items in the FMH the split is 60:40 in his favour, no SM. CM is not completely finalised but it will be some way short of the 58% I have been paying for over the last year. Youngest son stays with me 2 nights at present, and maybe someday eldest will too. Even though I think I could reduce CM to allow for the overnights I have elected not to.
Now perhaps I can sort out a house and make another home that the kids can enjoy too...I hope.
I pray that the future for them is bright. I want them to grow into confident, happy, kind, self-sufficient adults.

It sounds like relief is starting to enter into the scheme of things even if there is trepidation about the future. Here's hoping you and the kids find a great home. I'm sure they know you love them and that's worth more than bricks and mortar - unless it's raining! |

Thanks divwiki, yes one bit sorted. My main worry was always the kids. A house doesnt make a home but I need a home now. On the bright side I've been lucky here, less rain than some parts and very little flooding. Just think of those already flooded and dreading the rain....the bricks and mortar didnt help some people much. |
