Now that’s a pretty broad question, I know, but you know how it is – you become so caught up in your own circle of family and the problems you have that you forget that there’s a whole world going on outside.
And my thoughts are all influenced by my own situation. And my thoughts aren’t nice.
I read blog comment after blog comment from women who have loved and been wronged. But I’m a bloke that has loved and been wronged. So why didn’t I find one of you to love? We could have righted together not wronged each other.

Hi Drew, don't you think us women look at the 'decent' men on this site, and think the same thing? I worked with a woman who used to say her and her husband were well suited-they 'saved 2 other people being totally miserable'  Take care  |

Drew, Think of your search for a good woman as being like picking appples from a tree. The ones at the bottom of the tree are not always the best, sometimes a little tart, but they are easy to get. The ones towards the top require much more effort to harvest, but are closer to the sun, so are always sweeter. The ones right at the very top are very sweet, but they are sometimes they have been damaged by pests picking at them, so they just need some care and attention, but they really are the best. Happy picking |

I love Mike's analogy. I think some of us men and women have had our good natures taken advantage of by those that are not so scrupulous. The trick to getting a nice other half is to make sure you think enough of yourself to not allow yourself to be treated badly and to love the other person a lot as well. It is a case if being fair on yourself and others, and whilst we may argue the toss over the details most of us know what is fair and what is not. Having said all that, it is just so much theory on my part having not managed to put it into practice ...... yet! Hope you are good at climbing apple trees Drew. Shelia X |
