Do Computers hate me ?
The laptop does, it waits until my blog is just completed and as I press the save and publish button but before it has saved it tells me to switch to mains power and then shuts down. A whole half hour or more of one fingered typing lost. If I could type with two fingers would the battery last half the time?
I would love to use mains power, but the mains adaptor is plumbed into the computer cupboard upstairs and I would have to move the cupboard and I can only connect to the internet through the phone socket downstairs
Dial up is a bit of a pain (alright b****y sloooooooooow) having to wait several minutes for wiki to load. Ordered the broadband today so should be up and running in a couple of weeks and you won’t be able to prise me away from the computer.
Sorting out the equity in the house is moving towards a conclusion, divorce petition ready to go to the court, had to ask the bank to send a cheque book so that I can pay the court fees, I can’t remember the last time I wrote a cheque, why can’t they just take your debit card number like everyone else.
Hoping to get the stbx/wife/witch to go through the rest of her things left in the house and remove the items she wants so I can have a GIANT bonfire and then go through all the cupboards and put items into logical places, women’s logic seems to defy all reason. For example why is the medical kit under the sink with thousands of assorted candles, and the floor cleaner stored with the cooking pans. I’m sure it’s the sign of a muddled brain.
Freedom is now looking the attractive option and I am starting to look forward to it, I certainly never thought I would say that a month ago
Best wishes to all
Steve

Hi steve wow u are moving on quick even if the broadband isn't lol by the way i did that with a blog once and lost it aghhhh i nearly cried!! the next one i did in word but it was a much shorter version. perhaps a tip to use then copy and paste into blog. i am sure u needed that comment from a smart arse lol just trying to help lol I can tell by the tone of ur blogs how much u are moving on as i believe i commented on your first blog. i think i should have blogged regularly (only ever done one to apologise for losing it in chat once) lol as i think writing things down is so therapeutic. i have decided to do that in a notebook as now actually getting down to the nitty gritty of the divorce feelings have emerged which i thought were dead and buried. don't worry not for the stbx just the stuff that went on before his departure. i am not sure i am brave enough to share that with others though. but well done to u keep blogging. broadband is on its way. you shouldn't live in such a remote area lol determined |

steve i think it is good that others see peeps moving on. i have to say it is still early days for u and i am sure u will still have some down days but they will become fewer. i think it is also good for others to see that there are other people out there having to go through the pain of divorce but still see light at the end of the tunnel. i must admit if i was a one finger typist i would have given up long ago so perhaps you should have my name lol. determined |
