Hi those of you that are coming to London, the event draws ever nearer.
Have confirmed all room bookings with hotel today so we all have somewhere to rest our tired souls when we finally retire to bed.
Just had an idea that maybe a Raffle would be a good idea.
Would like to know if people would be willing to provide any prizes and whether people would be happy to buy tickets and to donate the money to a charity or whether they prefer the idea of everyone being given a ticket as they come in and doing the draw that way.
Just a suggestion. Have had a couple of offers of prizes already and just think it maybe a bit of added entertainment to the evening.
Would be grateful for your thoughts on this, thank you.
A few people have asked about smoking facilities for the evening, am dealing with this first thing tomorrow.
For information, anyone wishing to have wireless connection during their stay can purchase a 24 hour card for £10, could you let me know if anyone will be wanting this facility.
Like I have said, dress code is whatever you feel comfortable in. Know some people are looking at dressing in DJs and cocktail dresses and others not quite so formal, the choice is yours.
If anyone has any other queries, then please just add them to this blog if they are general or pm me if they are more individual.
Getting excited now.

Thanks for all the hard work Sarah. I will try and sort out a raffle prize for you if it happens. A small ticket charge for charity shouldn't be a problem. |

Hi Sarah, I can contribute a prize for the raffle: 1litre of 45% Wyborowa vodka. I decided against offering 'An evening with Young again' as a prize, because I suspect the eventual winner could possibly be lynched by a jealous mob, or maybe suffer a seizure at the thought. Either outcome is plausible, it is difficult to say. YA |
