I had to cancel 12:00 – 1:00pm with my solicitor I can remember feeling rundown with a chest infection: pneumonia, also I am generally being given very much the run-around for court, that I hardly saw that much of my solicitor back then. I would generally phone her if something came up my fone bills were astronomical back then. I should have gone for a blackberry it would have paid for it’s self by now.
When I finally got in her office she too was buried in paperwork, just as well we were not big women, as there was only just room elbow room in her tiny office. I did like her I do not have to say this but I did like her. At times she also cried in a meeting with the other EW later I will come back on this.
As I reflect back now even do instant replay in my mind what took place .I do not know, how any of these solicitors can contain themselves, or manage to keep a straight face when the reports come back in. Some come from a background of working in the past for the Local Authority. It works like a taxi rank they take the next paying customer as a rule.
These solicitors do know only too well the trauma involved in this dreadful ordeal they send the client off: like basically lambs to the slaughter it has to be said that this is also money for old rope. The firm of solicitors must use these contacts often on most days of the week, so they must also know, the form of the psychiatrists they are sending the clients onto which is me in this case however, most probably in the future it will be someone close to you ,then you will know what we all mean by the term psychiatric abuse .When someone close to you will say, they too have had a bad experience it is far too late to say I know now.
These so, called Expert Witness’s are very much protected by the system also the GMC is just not up to the job of dealing with the problem. Much later on I asked her did you know her Dr B? She admits yes she knew her read an article on Emotional Harm.
This EW is top dog for having done a paper with Dr G at GOS hospital another big gun expert. Both of them are said to be feminist's.
Back to Wednesday 4th August 2004 contact was cancelled for a core assessment. You would think a child going through lumber puncture on Tuesday 3rd August would be given a break some time out to spend with family whilst he is ill?
Primarily you would think the best thing to do for C would be to work around his needs, C has a right to contact to see his family.
Questions for core assessments
SW arrives brings family aid with her the FA stays in the living room looking nervous whilst the other SW has gone to check out the bathroom.
Asked to use the bathroom immediately on entry to the house my eldest son was in the bedroom next door. G says she runs the taps and flushed the toilet but did not use. She is checking for toothbrushes toothpaste etc neglect point scoring ticking boxes. I am surprised she was not in there all day checking the Estee Lauder products. She will find a lot of stuff in there, as I am big on products.
Moving on to Questions
1) What help would you need if you got C back?
Not a lot of help at all, just maybe with transport to the hospital I do not drive at the moment and you are spending my £6,000 loan for a car . It cost on average £100 to go to contact in the community + a lot of other costs are added to this.
2) What about medicines how would you manage them?
Read the labels check for advice from hospital or chemist store in a box up there in a cupboard or in the fridge.
3) Was MR X the father violent to you whilst you were pregnant?
4) Yes the answer is yes to this 1 he was violent ,he had bitten me once before, he had also bruised me by hitting me , he also threw a bottle at me ,also glasses and plates when I was pregnant a lot of it was verbal abuse screaming and shouting at me .
5) Why did you pay for a holiday for him?
Simply because I was the person responsible for the booking the holiday, explaining that the other 2 adults were busy working I had more time to do this.
I did not know then he was living with his current wife and coming around to see his son & myself
6) What future do you think Mr X has for contact with C
Supervised contact due to his recent behaviour of upsetting him recently in hospital .A month later on the ex is asked to leave the Contact centre by the staff supervising as he has intimidated C.
