It's going to be a rambling moan I know but I can't help myself...the last week has been hard - just when I thought I was coming up out of the mire & getting somewhere, life reminded me that it doesn't do to run before you can walk!

Yeah, Xmas went quite well - 7 mths into separation & I handled it ok and didn't break the bank,  enjoyed moments with family and friends and even had someone interested in me that made me feel good about myself again. I had enough work to pay the bills plus maintenance pending suit started,  the ADs had kicked in so I wasn't crying every 5 mins  - the new year

I heard from the Police this week that my stbx will be in court on 1 Feb for his Plea hearing.  They've said that neither my son nor I need to be there for that (sigh of relief).  It means that he has the chance to plead guilty or not for standing two feet away from me and shoving a carving fork in my face!!! 

They have said that if it goes to trial it could take 4-5 mths to get there !!!! However that means that the Bail Conditions will stay in place and he cannot come anywhere near me, my son or the house.  It also gives me the chance to sort the divorce petition out and slap that on him.

Having a few bad weeks just cant seem to think on a positive side,currently out of work and have been for 22mths that alone gets me down but the thought of losing our home which i should now just call my home due to bankruptcy cuts like a knife just dont know where to start to get life back on some kind of meaningful track. Spend most of my days and nights alone and trying to find a place to rentwith bankruptcy on my files is not real good.I usually go out for a few beers on a saturday all be it by myself but cant even be bothered with that,just looking for a way to feel a bit
