Got good news yesterday my divorce went to court 7th january and decree gets sent out on friday[Scotland is different fron England]. My first reaction was woo woo now i have some thinking to do

I moved over 300 miles to get away from dv,emotional abuse etc,my ex is not allowed to know where dd and i are and the court have ordered a no contact to him

Since we left 3 grandchildren have been born and both dd and i would like more contact with them and of course my older kids, her siblings,my youngest son is preparing to get posted to Afghan so im torn in 2 directions

I'm new here so I'll tell you about my situation. My ex left one day without any warning or notice right between Christmas and New Year in 2007. He went out one morning to the shops and never returned. The first I knew about anything was a text message reply to a voicemail I left checking he was ok and was told "I'm not coming back, I've met someone else". We were married for 21 years, have 4 children 2 of which are under 16 and reside with me. Needless to say we were all devastated.

Well the run up to Christmas was very difficult the day when I returned Sara before she went to Denmark for christmas. I was very upset I could not hide and she was crying as well even my wife as well. Seems my wife thinks I can just go along with them as a friend but that is not the way I feel. As I was leaving she came over and asked me not to do anything silly, that I could not promise. I returned to the house to find the heating had stopped working, sums things up.

Spent quite alot of time crying at my desk again at work cannot help it. Christmas Eve was in fact the worst which is when
