Got another call with the solicitor this morning, to see what our next move should be now that the ex has filed the petition...... only taken four months.

The way I'm thinking at the moment, I'm either going to

• defend the particulars

there's not a single sentence in them that is factually accurate (including all the crap about domestic violence, abuse, financial exposure - which is the main thing I'm concerned about) - or

• suggest she files on the basis of adultery.  

At least that would be one lie rather than lots, and as I understand it is the cheapest and quickest option.

Last night when I finally got home I found an email which has if anything made me even more confused..

To set the scene; for over 20 yearsI have volenteered on one of the steam railways in north wales   they are advertising for a station master for the next 10 weeks.

it is 300 miles away, i would need to find somewhere to live, i have to think about this place, contact with the solicitor, insurance to leave this place  cant guarentee i would be able to internet, and a thousand and one other things then of course there is the stbx.

Well here i go again. I must have got some sleep because I have now woken up. Woken up to stbx in the bathroom getting ready for work.
